Diamond Standard Begins Expansion into Non-Structural Sheet Metal

In response to the growing need for replacing a cowl induction hood in collision repair, Diamond Standard announced that it is incorporating Reflexxion Automotive's line of all steel cowl induction hoods under the Diamond Standard Brand effective July 1. Until now, the Diamond Standard brand has been reserved for the company's line of structural bumper system parts.

Reflexxion offers cowl hood applications across all major domestic light duty trucks, SUVs and even the Ford Mustang. "Our expansion leverages the quality of Reflexxion with the awareness, trust and penetration of the Diamond Standard Brand providing the industry an easily recognized solution when replacement of a quality steel cowl hood is required or desired by the consumer" said Mike O'Neal, President of Diamond Standard Parts, LLC.

The company says Reflexxion Domination Style cowl hoods feature patented cowl designs incorporated throughout the line and are the only cowl hoods made in CAPA approved facilities off of Reflexxion precision tools. "There are numerous private label cowl hoods in the market, none of which are manufactured in approved facilities or based on anything but price. I would challenge anyone to refute this fact and hope this sets the playing field in a true light. The commoditizing of a high end discretionary item is a truth that unfortunately leaves consumer value out of the loop and does not return the vehicle to pre-damaged condition" added O'Neal.
